From clinical and industrial chemist to Drupal Developer. It seems a long road and it was, although the analytical mindset needed within the medical world resulted in debugging skills within Drupal webdevelopment. Jochen is autodidact and has learned Drupal web development during his spare time when working a chemist.  Jochen is standin Scrum Master. Jochen is maintainer of the widely used Fieldgroup module and Hearbeat ("Facebook in Drupal").

Next to Drupal development, Jochen is also involved as Community Manager for Wunderkraut BeNeLux, upholding Wunderkraut's strong Community heritage and guiding all Wunderkraut Krew members towards the open source Drupal Community.  As with most of the Wunderkraut Krew, Jochen is not bound by working hours as he puts a lot of time into the Drupal Community and developing new modules and working new web technologies. Except when the weather is nice, then Jochen pursuits his other passion: that of a Farmer/Greengrocer.
